Project Affiliate and Investigator Shantanu Nundy’s text messaging study was recently featured by Health Affairs. The study’s focus on connected healthcare through text messaging demonstrates an exciting opportunity for physicians to keep connected with patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes. The findings show that text messaging is a helpful tool for empowering patients in their diabetes self-management.
